Dr. Brad Bootstaylor obtained his M.D. from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1988. His residency training Obstetrics & Gynecology took place at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York, and he graduated from the program in 1992 to attend a Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at UCSF (Univ. of Calif., San Francisco). Being Board Certified in both Ob/Gyn & MFM, Dr. B. was on faculty at Beth Israel Medical Center (NYC), and afterward practiced as an OB and MFM specialist in Atlanta Georgia. He is the author of the book Shared Decision-Making outlining a model that encourages the mother to engage her maternity care and birth confidently and safely.
