Holly Dunsworth is Professor of Anthropology at the University of Rhode Island. She started her career hyper-focused on fossil apes and humans, then dabbled a bit in primate energetics and metabolism, until she shifted all her attention to the stories we tell about the facts of evolution. These include the "obstetrical dilemma", the analogy comparing human races are like dog breeds, and the myth that men are taller than women because of their tall winning male ancestors. She's writing a book for Viking/Penguin that will be out in 2025.
